Following a fault with the signalling system between Portsmouth & Southsea and Portsmouth Harbour, lines have now reopened. Whilst service recovers, trains running between Fratton and Portsmouth Harbour may be cancelled, delayed or revised.
This is expected until 11:30.

After engineers have been on site investigating and fixing the fault, all lines have now reopened between Portsmouth & Southsea and Portsmouth Harbour and trains are running through the area.

Following severe weather brought by Storm Goretti, the line between Truro and Falmouth Docks remains closed today.
Services between these stations are unable to run and will be cancelled.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
Rail replacement buses will operate between Truro and Falmouth Docks. These will operate to mirror the train service, but may suffer from delays due to the additional running time on road.
To assist you with your journey, you cam use your ticket on the following services, at no extra cost:
There is a tree blocking road access to Falmouth Docks station, buses will use the local bus stop on Castle Drive.
You will be able to use any tickets from Thursday 8 January at no additional cost on Great Western Railway services up to and including Monday 12 January. Alternatively, if you are unable to travel, you can claim a free refund for your tickets.

The line between Liskeard and Looe remains closed following a period of recent heavy rain which flooded the track.
The water levels have now dropped and Network Rail have been able to inspect the bridge structures. The results of the investigation have confirmed some damage that will require repair work. This will need to be carried out before the line can be reopened and trains are able to run again.
No trains will operate between Liskeard and Looe until at least the end of the day Friday 16 January. Rail replacement transport will run as stated below, subject to road conditions being safe to do so.
Please note, there is no Sunday service on this route.
Replacement coaches will operate at train departure times from Liskeard and Looe.
The designated stops for the replacement road transport are as follows:
If you are travelling to / from Coombe Junction Halt, St Keyne Wishing Well Halt or Causeland please call Great Western Railway customer services on 0345 700 0125, or use the station help point for taxis to be arranged.
You may use your ticket on Transport for Cornwall bus route 73 between Liskeard and Looe at no extra cost.
A further update will be provided soon regarding the progress of the repair work. This page will be updated once confirmation is received as to when the line will reopen.
